Ana Martin Boado

Head of Public-Private Affairs

Ana has 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences sector, having held positions as Legal and Compliance Director, as well as Secretary of the Board of Directors in multinational companies such as Baxter, General Electric Healthcare, GlaxoSmisthKline and Grünenthal, in Spain and Portugal, as well as in prestigious Law Firms.

Ana holds a PhD in Law from the San Pablo CEU University of Madrid, a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration from the San Pablo CEU Centre in Madrid.

She has consolidated her teaching activity in Corporate Law and Compliance at Universities and Business Schools. In particular, as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the San Pablo CEU University (1996-2000), at the Study Centre of the Madrid Bar Association (2001-2008), in the Master in Pharmaceutical Law of the ESAME Business School (2015-2016), and in the Master in Economic Criminal Law of the International University of La Rioja -UNIR- (2017-2019). Ana is also a regular speaker at conferences.

Ana leads the Public-Private Area of the Firm, focusing on the medical-commercial interactions of companies with public and private Hospitals, Clinics, Public Entities, Foundations, Medical Associations, etc., advising on the negotiation and formalisation of commercial contracts and all types of contracts of a public nature, including assignments of use of products, donations and collaboration agreements, as well as drafting all types of appeals against specifications and administrative resolutions (exclusion, adjudication, etc.), a field in which she has achieved a great deal of success.

Thanks to her in-depth knowledge and experience of more than 20 years in Compliance, Advertising and Promotion, Anti-Corruption, Public Procurement and Commercial Procurement, our clients particularly value her ability to identify commercial opportunities and maximise their sales within a framework of ethics and compliance, assuming a key role as a "Business Partner".
